Sweet taste of the morning
when your name lays upon
my tongue and the fading
of the stars into the red glow
of the dawn sings with the thrill
I feel when eternity spins
around the moment that is you

offer the flicker of a candle
to warm and light the depths of your heart
then I will be content to know
that something worthwhile
has happened of my lifetime.

Let me melt your heart in my hands
and touch gentle your soul
with the words to thrill a smile
to your face when sleep comes
upon you and perhaps your dream of me.

you are the path upon which I write.

You are all things at once,
